Otherwise known as Lemon Balm this is one of the earliest known medicinal herbs. Its calming effect will help regulate the menstrual cycle and may help female infertility. It can help with allergies and insect bites. Melissa can help to lower high blood pressure and help with shock, anxiety, depression, hypertension, insomnia and nervous tension. A wonderful aid to people who have been bereaved through sudden illness or accident. Melissa blends well with lavender and geranium and other floral or citrus essential oils.
